AL West: Outfield change coming in Houston

LaMonte Wade Jr. has been a primary corner outfield starter against RHP. He’s hitting .170 on the season with two home runs. He’s walking 18% of the time, which is nice, but his 72 HctX is not what the Astros need every day in their lineup. They could make a trade to address the issue, or they have a couple of options in AAA. 

Joey Loperfido is one of those options. He was sent to AAA on July 4, and he’s been swinging it well over the last three weeks. Since his demotion, Loperfido is hitting .268 with two home runs and two steals. He’s also only striking out 11.5% of the time. He’s battled injuries in recent seasons, hindering his production, but he’s only a few years removed from a 20/20 season at AAA, and...
