Coming off a dismal 2025 season (.205/.226/.304 in 180 PA) while splitting time between Texas and Seattle, Leody Taveras latched on with the Orioles on a one-year, $2M contract. Coming into the season, Taveras looked likely to fill a reserve role with Baltimore; while this was the case to open the year, Taveras quickly became a regular in Baltimore thanks to injuries and ineffectiveness in the team’s outfield. As of this writing, he ranks fourth on the team with 241 PA, but could recent developments lessen his hold on playing time?
