NEWS: Boston Red Sox INF Trevor Story (elbow) was activated from the injured list Tuesday, Aug. 8;  Yu Chang was designated for assignment.

IMPACT: High

BHQ SPIN: As long as Story’s elbow is up to the task, he should take over as Boston’s everyday shortstop, bumping 3B Pablo Reyes firmly into a reserve role. Chang did not have a remaining minor league option, so the Red Sox DFA’d him.
