NEWS: The Tigers activated RHP Casey Mize from the 15-day IL. Detroit also placed 2B Gleyber Torres on the 10-day IL with an oblique strain.

BHQ SPIN: Mize, who has been sidelined since May 27 with right adductor inflammation, boasts a sharp 2.27 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over nine starts this season. Although his 3.74 BHQ xERA indicates regression will hit him hard; he is still in the midst of a breakout season where his 26 K% and 13.2 SwK% are the best marks of his career.
