NEWS: The Mets placed Francisco Lindor on the 10-day IL and recalled Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse.

Wednesday night, New York moved Bo Bichette from third base to shortstop with Brett Baty taking over at third. While that is one option for the Mets, Thursday night Mauricio got the start at short, and manager Carlos Mendoza indicated he would get the majority of the time at short.
