NEWS: Los Angeles placed OF Mike Trout on the 10-day IL with a right hamstring strain and recalled 2B Christian Moore from the minors.

BHQ SPIN: Trout remained healthy for over a year, the first time he’s done so since 2021-22, but he’ll hit the IL for the first time this year with a leg injury. The future Hall-of-Famer is hopeful this will be a minimum stint. It would do him well to return quickly, as he’s in the midst of a resurgent campaign, with what’s on pace to be his best season since 2022.
