NEWS: The Dodgers placed OF Andy Pages on the 10-day IL with a fractured left hand and recalled OF Alek Thomas from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Pages was hit in the hand by a pitch on Friday, August 21 and may undergo surgery to repair the fracture. He is expected to miss a minimum of 4 weeks. With 5 weeks left in the regular season the Dodgers expect him to be ready for the playoffs, but a timeline for recovery is not completely clear at this point.
