The Marlins have activated Brett Graves, previously on the DL with a left oblique strain, to pitch in their bullpen. He replaces Caleb Smith (bereavement list) on the roster. The 25-year-old Graves was selected in the 3rd round of the 2014 amateur draft by Oakland. After being left unprotected on the Athletics 40-man roster last off-season, the Marlins picked Graves up in last December’s Rule 5 draft.
