Webb tangles with Snakes Thursday at home

 

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Thursday brings a light slate, with 10 teams split into five contests. Three of those (TEX-DET, LAA-TAM, CLE-BOS) will be matinees. Precipitation could impact the Guardians-Red Sox tilt at Fenway Park, and rain is a higher possibility in Thursday night's MIA-CHC game at Wrigley Field. Breezy conditions are also expected in a few contests. An significant inward wind is expected at Wrigley (helping fly-ball types A.J. Puk and Jameson Taillon); a batter's breeze is expected in San Francisco (ARI-SF) that pegs less of an effect on ground-balling veteran Logan Webb.
