Ragans looks to stay hot by the bay

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have 15 games on tap, starting with six-day games. There has been some rain going through the Midwest, but there have been no rainouts since this weekend. With so many aces on the mound today, we only have two totals of nine runs or more. 

 

Notable Starts:

Cole Ragans has been one of the best pitchers over the past month of the season. Since May 17, Ragans has made six starts and allowed seven earned runs over 37 innings. He has 45 strikeouts with a 24.6% K-BB and 13.6% SwStr. He takes on an A’s team today that is swinging well vs LHP: .226 average, .220 ISO, and 129 wRC+. The ratings support Ragans with a 1.9 overall rating even against a productive opposing lineup.
