deGrom looks to rebound vs Mariners

Today’s Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full slate of 15 games on the final Sunday of July. The matinees get started at 12:15pm ET when the Rays host the Guardians; the Yankees and Phillies close out the day as the sole evening contest on the docket. Weather-wise, it’s sunny skies across the board with heavy winds blowing out in San Francisco.

Notable Starts:

Jacob deGrom stumbled a bit in his first start out of the All-Star break, allowing five earned runs in 4.2 IP with 6/2 K/BB against the White Sox. He’ll look to rebound in a home tilt against the Mariners. The M’s have been a bottom-five offense over the past month and own a .206 BA, .115 ISO and 79 wRC+ vs RHP in that span. deGrom ranks well in Ks and ratios today.
