Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full slate of games on tap, starting at 1:10 pmEST. There are light threats of rain in Colorado, but otherwise, it seems we’ll have a clean slate of weather. We have some strong pitchers on today’s slate, but as always, some potential duds leave us with four or five totals of nine or more.
Notable Starts:
Spencer Strider takes on the red-hot Rangers to continue his dominance on the mound. Strider has a 2.51 ERA and 2.47 xFIP with a 34.8% K-BB. Strider has the second-best rating today at 2.7, with one of the highest strikeout ratings in recent memory (4.6). The Rangers may be swinging it well, but Strider is still one the best in baseball, and that should not change today.
